Vera Sadler
Is the Executive Director and Founder of Project R.A.R.E. Mrs. Sadler began her work as a evangelist in her local church and serving diligently towards outreach to homeless, women's shelters, transitional housing programs and prison ministry. Mrs. Vera L. Sadler is a native of New York, born in the Bronx and raised in Queens and Long Island. Mrs. Sadler is a former member of the US Army has her Masters in Discipleship and Church Ministries and Bachelors in Criminal Justice and Christian Counseling. Her early career afforded her the opportunity to work in the financial arena for over 17 years. During this time Mrs. Sadler spent many years volunteering at various City, State and Federal Correctional Facilities while assisting with the outreach team of her local church in Aurora, Colorado. After many years of service and working with the homeless and formerly incarcerated persons, Mrs. Sadler founded Project R.A.R.E. This organization was established out of her local church and later in a small office in Aurora, Colorado to serve the community. Through much networking, community collaboration and volunteer services, individuals were provided with resources, job readiness skills and counseling to help them transition and become self-sustainable as well as reunited with their families.
Mrs. Sadler has continued her training and became certified to conduct Anger Management classes, trained as an Offender Employment Specialist by US Dept. of Justice, various Youth Development Training Certifications and holds various other certifications. Because of Mrs. Sadler work history in the states of Colorado, New York and Texas, she has and continues to serve communities through Project R.A.R.E. In addition, Mrs. Sadler continues to serve those in need in the community through case management, workshops, her volunteer teaching at the Salvation Army and resource referral services.
Donald Sadler
Serves as the Vice president and Adviser of Project R.A.R.E. Mr. Sadler has a unique, strong a gift of mentoring men. Mr. Sadler has over 15 years of ministry, years of community service with a focus in the pro-life and crisis management. Mr. Sadler has held ministry positions at various churches in the New York area prior to launching his own pastorate at Life Fellowship Church (LFC) in Newburgh, NY (one of the toughest, crime areas in NY). Under his leadership, LFC was able to provide services to many low-income and marginalized individuals. Mr. Sadler's has provided workshops, seminars and group sessions to the program participants, prison services for Project R.A.R.E. Mr. Sadler continues to serve as a counselor and adviser for participant and the program leadership. Currently, Mr. Sadler is the owner and operator of his executive security transportation business, Dauntless Protection Transportation Group, LLC. As he continues to operator his business, he shows those he mentors they can follow their dreams and visions, if they just believe.
Desiree Spencer
Desiree Spencer serves as the Office Manager and Administrative Assistant for Project R.A.R.E. Ms. Spencer started working as a volunteer with the organization while she was in high school and continues to serve the mission of the organization. Ms. Spencer has worked with troubled you with YAP, and has volunteered at nursing homes, women’s shelters and various community outreach centers. Ms. Spencer holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Bio-Pysch-Social. Ms. Spencer constantly works to help plan and organization the functions which Project R.A.R.E. is involved. Currently, Ms. Spencer is pursuing her Masters in Healthcare Leadership and Organization.
